So I was Glam base racing and I saw that "convention wear" was on the list of themes, having specifically been suggested as being cosplay but up to whatever interpretation you want, and realized that I haven't made a self portrait since I lopped off all of my hair.

I didn't know whether or not I'd be able to go to Celebration VII for the longest time, since my life since it had been announced was incredibly chaotic and it was only at more or less the last minute that I knew for certain that yes, I would be able to go, no problem.

And I did and it was amazing, of course, I spent most of my time hanging out with my fellow Star Wars bros, discussing the future of the franchise under new management with new movies, going to all sorts of panels and stuff, getting to talk with some of the creators of things that I admire, and I told the best Star Wars joke at the SWTOR Cantina Crawl. (Why is it so hard to work with Jedi by e-mail? Because they can't have any attachments! I said the best there, not the best joke period.)

I've also had that Luke Skywalker themed backpack for a pretty long time for use in normal, everyday activities and I never saw anyone else who had one like it until I went to the con, at which point I saw THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE with MY BACKPACK.
